Hopefully competitors are happy with the outcome on #1 as there is a very challenging 200+ yard Par 3 up next.  Missing the green left sees the ball roll down into the valley.  Favoring the right side can pay off if you have enough club to make the green…

If the narrow tee shots, drop off fairways, thick rough and small greens weren't enough...the greens are expected to become progressively faster throughout the week.  10.9 on the Stimpmeter early into the practice round on Monday morning.

A look from the players point of view.  Positioning is crucial with this tee shot. Trees quickly come into play on the right while fescue and more trees blocking the green come into play on the left.
