Check out the trees bordering the driveway. There are more than 150 species of trees on the property which bloom at different times between March and September. One of the many things that makes Shaughnessy G&CC so unique.
These grandstands are being set up around the 472 yard Par 4 18th. It'll be interesting to see what this looks like in a few weeks when the stands are built up. More to come then!
One of my favorite holes on the course. The 421 yard Par 4 9th hole. When here in person, you can see the mountains in Nanaimo through those trees.
Blue skies today in Vancouver. Great day to start setting up the grandstands.
This giant structure being built is the Golf Canada House Pavilion. It will border the driving range during the tournament.
Another angle of the 9th green. The course conditions are fantastic right now. Greens are rolling and rough is growing in nice and thick. Staying in the short grass will be crucial during the Canadian Open.
