  • Titleist Tips: Lie Above the Feet with Mark Blackburn

    Rick V., Team Titleist Staff
    Rick V., Team Titleist Staff

    “Lie determines everything.”

This is how Titleist Staff Professional Mark Blackburn wants us to think about approach shots when we’re out on the course. Hitting more greens in regulation is a key to shooting lower scores and as Mark shows…

Definitely go see a Titleist fitter. I had a 15 year old set of 822's which I bought new but finally decided to upgrade last year. The fitter noticed I needed clubs 2 degrees flatter than standard. I hit the ball more consistently now, when I'm actually…

Living on Long Island, I get to play the Black course a few times a year. It's not necessarily the Black that restores my spirit, it's playing and scoring on other courses after it.

It's been awhile since the 816's came out, but that's how I remember it. The 1 degree increment requires an 816/818 head and and 816/818 Surefit. The 913-915 Surefits only adjust 0.75 degrees in the 816/818 heads.

Congrats Quinn. This is my second year working at a course and I enjoy it! I go to work because it's fun, not to pay the bills since it's a part-time job. Have a friendly, positive attitude - I can think of a few courses that I won't go back to due to…
