I love the K grind in SM6. I have 60-12K but it is bent to 57 and it hits on a wide variety of lies from hard pan to soft sand. The L and M grinds seem to have more bounce on the leading edge.

Thanks to everyone who replied and, especially, for the comments from those who have had this surgery and had excellent advice regarding the rehab process. Biggest frustration is I just purchased new 718 AP1 irons and will now have to delay fine tuning…
