Thanks, I played a full round on Sunday for the first time using the V's and was really impressed with the ball flight Out in 38, back in 40 and the greens had been punched and I had 4-5 putts stop just short in the heart of the hole. I'm a believer…

The above comments are really right on. I was an x player because it felt softer and just better. Now the x is harder and the 1 is softer. Did they just mix up the recipe when they make these balls?

I got these on line from tour spec golf. A Japanese company that carries golf accessories for that different look that we see in the United States. Interesting to browse their products

I prefer the 'S' for all the situations you mention. I've been using them for about a year now, and it is my ball of choice at the moment. Another reason is that I can't justify the expense of the V1 and V1x

Ive tested 2 lots in the past year or so. I think it depends n how active you are on the forum, however sometimes activity is very low, so I tend to wander off for a while and come back periodically to see if there is anything interesting

    Hi Nathan!
If it's a gift you might give him the gift of a driver-fitting instead :)
    Cheers!

I'm all about conserving energy for the course. If we had a button, I could have saved lots by not having to type 3 sentences.
    I like your suggestion, Vik.

The type of shaft you use depends on a lot more than swing speed. Sure, we can eliminate shafts based on swing speed (if you're a senior swinging at 70 mph, obviously you won't be able to torque an X shaft effectively, for instance). But the shaft that…
