This is interesting b/c the new 917 does feel a bit "heavier" as I have the same shaft in it as my 915. Curious to see the difference. Thanks for the post. The 917FW on the other hand is THE best feeling FW that Titleist has produced in a long time…

Dino- yes Green Gables is set in the area of where the book was written. Funny though, we never had time to tour the house, etc. Too much to do in the week so we never got around to it....next time we'll be sure to go.

And yes we had seafood. Yum…

Great article! I just got fit as well. Previously I had been fit and transitioned to the ProV1 from the NXT. In this last fitting it worked out that the ProV1x might give me some extra yards off the tee. Well it really worked out much better than I expected…

I don't very often lose a ball so I retire mine when the ball is scuffed up to the point I can't see it too well in flight. Seems like everytime I get into the rough I'll find a couple balls, on rare occasions I'll find a Pro V1x and put it into my bag…

Very interesting! I look forward to having a fitting the next time it is available in my area. I noticed when I played 2 days ago how much longer I hit my NXT Tour balls than anything else I have used lately including Pro Vs.
