• Club fitting locations - Surrey/Greater London

    Hi All,

    I'd like to try out some new irons as I'm hoping to upgrade my 10 year old 804s, does anyone know of any truck fitting days in Twickenham/West London/Surrey?

    I'll be there and may show a bit early to play Pine Needles or an additional day at PH to walk #1 and #3. Those two are fun to play.

    Also I love my 14 way, but combined with the Big Max Blade it's not the best. Never the less I strongly suggest the 14 way, as it's a great bag with sufficient space for all your stuff!

    I have to agree, Get Fitted. I was recently fitted for and purchased a set of 716 AP1's and have dropped 10-15 strokes from my game. Some of it is lessons but a good portion of it is the AP1's. I was amazed at the extra distance, feel and forgivness…

  • 19 Degree 910H and 19 Degree 910F

    I don't know if it was discussed previously but here's my story:

    I'm not a fan of 3W and my only fairway wood in the bag is a 19Deg 910F. A friend just handed me his not so old, good condition 19Deg 910H. Tried them side-by-side yesterday…

    The ProV1 is great from inside 100yds because of the extra spin. For distance and longer irons, the ProV1x is a better choice.

    I have seen where irons do not come from the factory at spec. If the swing weight is not what you expected, you should have the clubs checked and corrected.

    Recommend replacing the set with new irons with the shaft you require. THe cost of replacing shafts are usually at least 50%+ of just buying new.
