I see that the 917 models incorporate the Surefit CG weight which was used in the C16 limited release driver.

Do they have the same club face material?

What differentiates the two models from one another other than paint scheme and graphics?

    Very curious…

What are the differences from the 917 to the 915 D4 and Concept (C16) drivers? Is it just the moveable weight and are custom shafts going to be an option? Is this a marketing driven market intro to bolster slumping sales or are their distinct technical…

It depends on the 'scrape'. If it is just a cosmetic blemish, not much effect at all, but if the cover is damaged and shows burrs, the aerodynamics will be an issue, and would affect not only distance, but ball flight, as well.

    I save the scuff…

    Tell us about your -misses-.

Are you tracking your stats? You'll want to see how often you miss left, right, and short when approaching the green, as well as your driving tendencies.

What about your ball flight? Do you hit the ball high, or does…

Pro/Con are the topline look at address, the slight difference in forgiveness (vs. feel and feedback), and the lower/higher ball flight.

I am a big fan of the CBs, having had both. I found the AP2 harder to work left-to-right, and didn't like the somewhat…

Think it might be time to upgrade my 3 fairway.  Will be looking for an opportunity to try a new fairway this fall.  Hoping they will offer a Fujikura Motore Speeder Tour Shaft in the standard shafts in the 917 model.  If, that will be the closer.
