I sent mine into Scotty's Custom Shop for the conversion. They installed the weight, the grip and checked out all the specs for me. I love the results.

I usually play Pro V1's and hit the ball with a nice hight flight. My understanding is that the VX1's should produce a higher ball flight. Why not buy a sleeve of Pro V1 and play a couple of rounds and see how they compare to your traditional VX1's…
