• Comment on First Hole in One

I recently got my 1st hole in one on 4/28/14 on the 7th hole at Gambler Ridge GC in N.J. It was playing about 142 yds that day. I busted out my trusty 7 iron and to my surprise it went straight. It was high and hit about 4 ft in front of the pin. It took…

  • Re: club fitting

In my opinion, get a shaft fitted for you, and the proper lie angle. To me, the head doesn't matter much. I hit the ball just about the same with everything I've tried! You combine those two factors, you can hit anything well.

  • Re: 913 shaft options and question

I was able to hit both the Blue Diamana R and Bassara stiff at PGA superstore today.  Similar results. Swing speed between 97 and 102 with both.  Little more distance with the Blue with slight draw.  I will have to definitely play them on the course.

  • Re: needing a 50

Sound advice from Cameron. I have the 50 and the 54 in addition to my regular PW and SW. I'd rather cover the gaps in my scoring clubs than between the 3W and 3H.
  • Re: Swing issue or club issue?

When you say "dying" do you mean that the ball seems to stop at its peak then fall straight down or does it seem to go up then down with little to no hand time?

In other words, is the ball still ballooning? If your ball balloons at 7.7 degrees…

  • Different Grinds....

I've finally decided to upgrade my current Titleist wedges, as I think after 4 years now, their best days are behind them!!

Am having a little difficulty trying to get to grips with the different grind options available with the SM5 though.  I've…
