I went 3/4 inch on the 3-wood because it was a pull from a driver. It is definitely a bit more on the x-stiff side but I seem to be getting the ball to do what I want it to do, so I'll go with it for now.

get the golf pride multi coumponds. they are really comfortable i never slip, and you can pick your own color. i have used them over a year and i have had good success they have no shock from off hits either
