RE: Driver Shaft fitting
Don O
You'll hear this from other posters as well - the 917s need to be fit to the player. Even with the same head speed, other factors such as transition rate, angle of attack, and swing path will likely result in far different head lofts/shafts as being…

RE: Lefty

No, C1 setting for a lefty is +1.5 and more fade. The standard setting for a lefty is D4. You can always Google 913 performance guide left hand.

RE: exotic shafts for fitting?
Costa H
Hi guys...
Being new to TT I must say that my game has definitely improved since my switch from TM! As for the various shafts available I was "fortunate" to get my 913 D3 and 913f with Miyazaki Kusala Black series 61g & 71g stiff shafts. I must say that…

RE: Trusty 3-wood

Mid- to High- handicappers often have trouble with the lack of forgiveness with the length and loft of a 15 degree fairway. Working with a professional to evaluate your swing, you can work on the best length/loft fit for your swing. 16.5-18 is suitable…

RE: Ys6 shafts from 904f woods

It can be done, but the issue is getting a real Titleist SureFit Adapter. You cannot purchase adapters from Titleist. If you can find a used 913 or 915 fairway wood shaft, you can have a repair person pull the adapter off the shaft and transfer it to…

RE: 716 vs 714
Don O
My #1 problem with used clubs is finding a set with a shaft that best matches my swing. In your case, if the setup is the same and there is $200 difference, is 3-5 yards difference, length and dispersion worth that much? I have 716 AP1s and a 917 D2…

The correct shaft length depends on the user.
Best bet would be to go to a fitting centre and find out what your correct size is.
Pre-owned shafts for 913 woods are pretty common

RE: New Equipment, Annually
Doug E
Not every year, but usually every other Titleist model release for irons, and every new release for driver, woods and hybrids. Upgraded from AP2-712s last year to AP2-716s. Changed from 913H to 816H. FWs are 915 and am considering 917s. Drivers have been…

RE: 917D3 vs Competitors
Don O
Distance is in the eye of the beholder. I played a round with a young gun with his new TM and he was long. Long left, long right, and even in the fairway now and again. He has an off the rack shaft and the shaft is clearly taller than my 917 45" D2…

RE: New Wedges and Driver

I always feel their is a learning curve with new equipment. I upgraded from 913 d2 to 917 d2 and it's still an adjustment. I'm about 200 balls in and still figuring it out. Setup definitely changed..
