    On another thought, You can have the grip removed and then re-installed …. It can be done with an airgun or solvent…..I do this with the rubber grips occasionally….

    Walked on to play 9 holes.. Tees were playing up on hole 3. Lofted a 9 iron that disappeared. We though it bounced over the green, but subsequently found in the hole.
