When I wrote that last post about the 50-08 vs the Ping Eye 2 W (48.5), I was in the process of the shootout. What I had found at the time is the 50-08 was better around the greens for most pitches and chips and the Eye 2 W was better for the longer…

Jim, By the looks of your numbers you have a very solid game and I would say that it would be best that you find somewhere to hit the C-Tapers and DG Tour Issues so that you can compare the feel as well as performance (data). If neither does the job…

Can't speak for Titleist, but can for Ping or Nike. There is a bit more feedback with a steel shaft (i.e., vibrations). Graphite has a softer feel vs steel and it dampens any vibrations from the clubhead (maybe Sensicore steel shafts may dampen vibrations…

but why is that? ive caddied for titleist tour players like troy matteson and a few others in pro am's and they all had these "raw forged" irons. just curious. this might be something only done for tour players though to so im not sure.

    Hey Todd

    Going to a 2W could be a good idea, I do sometimes with a 906f2 13*.

If you go thru the current and archives, the lie angles of drivers are more upright than the 3W. It works, don't know why, longer shaft, ball setting up on a tee, you'd think…

thats a good point!  The mens is good because you could grow into the mens, but the womens does offer more flex.  Go with the mens unless u can get a custom fit.  Btw wat tournaments do u play in?

    good luck with your game
