  • Re: Titleist 910 Launch and spin too high

I don't see any reason to change the shaft right now, unless you think it's not accurate.  I'd definitely go D3 8.5 in D-1 and hopefully we get the spin down to 2800 or so.  Not too concerned with launch.  RC

The new Winn grips add says "Go lighter", but when you do go lighter then you will increase the swing weight but decrease the overall weight. I do not know what these grips weigh in comparsion to most other grips but if you put a new lighter mid size…

It was a bit better on Sunday, 83 39-44, I think the heat got to me on the back, I had 4-3 putts on the back.

    Didn't have…

    Eli,

I'm a regional fitting center for Titleist and can fit you for wedges. I'm located at Sleepy Hollow CC if you're not to far away.

    Steve,

Tipping the shaft will reduce the trajectory a little. The PX8 will lower your spin thus lower your flight. You can also try reducing the loft on the head.

    Best of luck,

    Kevin
