Just an idea, but you may want to hold out and wait till the new irons come out. Not sure when that is exactly for this year but they may come out with something even newer.
Try getting fitted and see what you should be swinging, then have your current set looked at. Might need some adjustments to the sticks.
I don't pay much attention to the sound of a club, but I hope it doesn't sound like the 907D1, love the driver hate the sound. Now after using the driver a few times its not so much a surprise and I don't really notice it anymore.
