    I use the Garmin Approach S40 and have a range finder in the bag but rarely use it. The Garmin gives distances to layups, doglegs, and hazards.

    I had my first hole-in-one on April 12, 2023 at Bear Trap Dunes Golf Club in Ocean View, DE. It was on Black Bear no.7, 121 yards, 9 iron. Great feeling!!
