    I got my first hole in one today at the ripe old age of 59 at Boca West - Palmer Course l on hole 13. 124 yard par 3 with a 6 iron into a stiff wind using a Titleist pro V1 golf ball. The ball landed 4 inches from the cup and rolled in.

    Glad you it enjoyed it! Awesome course along with nearby Tot Hill Farm designed by Mike Stranz. My favorite Stranz course, however, is Caledonia Golf and Fish Club in Pawleys Island, SC.

    Although I am playing the worse golf I have ever played in my life this year, I carded my 1st ever ace September 5th (124 yard using my gap wedge) then 40 days later got my 2nd hole in one on October 15th (145 yard using my 9 iron).

    I’d get them as soon as you can. They ask about the divots you take and the shots you like to play when advising on grinds, plus the St Ives is a pretty free draining course I think and the ground around the practice green was pretty hard when I was fitted…
