RE: Thick matted kikuyu fairways
JThomas
Turf conditions like yours are challenging for any player- even on tour, watch how players struggle to judge the strike playing out of grainy, gnarly kikuya or bermuda grass. Your answer is probably not equipment based, but technique. Out of any tricky…

RE: Driver shaft
JThomas
If you had great results, I would not worry about the shaft weight at all. A lighter shaft means a lighter total club weight. We can swing lighter things faster than heavier ones. Enjoy the gains

RE: TSR Driver Hzrdus red shaft or Tensei blue?

One isn't "better" than the other. Try both in your fitting and be open to your fitter's suggestions. The launch monitor does not lie.

RE: TS2 10.5 driver TSI2 9 driver

RE: 21 Deg Hybrid or Seven wood
JThomas
Plus one for 7w. As said before the only real knock on a 7w is some find it difficult to lower trajectory. I find it more forgiving than a hybrid and it's an absolute weapon into par 5s. Blasphemous to say on TT boards, but the cally Apex UW 21* is a…

RE: 7 wood vs 4 hybrid
JThomas
The "right" answer is go get fit. Or go test yourself on a launch monitor- shout out Golf Galaxy for very reasonably priced trackman bay rental. In fact, you can sign up for "Indoor Golf Day" on Oct 22 for a free 1 hour sim session and go experiment.…

RE: T100 v T100s
JThomas
There are substantial performance differences between the two models, stemming from, but not solely because of the loft difference. I'm going to break it up between the 3-7 iron and 8-pw because there are different technologies being utilized in those…
