• RE: New Titleist TSR Driver Reviews (Official Discussion)

Got fit by Josh Wright (our regional Titleist fitter), and he was awesome as always. I also did fitting at two big box stores that shall not be named, but Josh was head and shoulders above. Got into a TSR2 at 10 degrees with the UB-6 shaft and it's…
  • My First ACE

I played the hole the day before and tried to start the ball at the right side of the green and draw it to the middle but it went dead straight. So, I decided to go at the pin on this day. The ball landed about 20 feet short of the flag and I remember…

  • RE: Nice day out at the RAC

    Afternoon.

Is this the course that runs along the roads towards the Main grandstands of Epsom and the greens are probably 20 yards from the small roundabouts ?

My brother lives very close by and says the residents drive with Caution lol.

    Looks lovely…
  • RE: Wedge Setup With T100s Irons

I run 50, 54, 58. This seems to be the best for most courses in the area. If it's been really dry, I may swap out the 58 for a low bounce 60.
  • RE: Players 4 Plus StaDry Stand Bag post-purchase thoughts

Correct. On the older bags you could slip it up. The wire on the newer bags have a small metal tab under the plastic that keeps it from sliding easily. I have popped mine off and to reinstall it higher, used pliers to clamp it back. On one bag after I…
  • Shaft Change

Bought a used set of 2021 T100 irons with stiff flex, which is too much for my moderate swing speed. Will the irons work okay if I have the shop install regular/senior graphite shafts installed instead?

  • RE: Nippon 950 gh vs s300

I love the Nippon range of shafts vs True Temper....The Project X LZ is the closest thing but at 120-125 grams per shaft. If you are looking for lighter the Nippon Modus 105 is a solid choice. But like all things you need to test them to ensure they…
  • RE: Scottsdale work trip

Ha Ha. Yes, the plan is to set up shop in one of the adult communities like Sun City West or Sun City Grand and play regularly from there. Branch out occasionally to the better courses as opportunities arise. Growing up and spending most of my life in…
  • RE: Course Yardage Books...who buys them?

I used to buy them all the time years ago now I really don't any longer...so many good gps maps and other tools that do an equally good job. The new GHIN app really is great since it gives heat maps of the greens as well as real time yardages...covers…
  • Troon North

Was a great day at the Pinnacle course. Had a rough front nine, 6 over. Improved on the back. Was 1 under coming into 16 and holed it. Unfortunately went double bogey then par to finish. It was the first hole in one of my life at 39 years old and have…
