• RE: T150 irons

Im 6-7 rounds in to my 150's post srxn 700s..

Starting to fall in love with them after a few rounds teething. I had to change the ball position in my stance and since this change they have felt like hitting butter.

Dunes is a great public course.

Unfortunately the greens dont get respected as much as they use to by public players which is a shame.

If you are looking for an amazing track down there, I couldn't speak more highly of St Andrews.
  • A feeling that manifested into reality.

I began my golfing journey from scratch in July 2024, armed with little knowledge but an eagerness to learn. I quickly fell in love with the game, especially enjoying my collection of clubs, with Titleist being my favorite for irons. The highlight of…

  • RE: Winter!

My foursome is good weather only, so from Dec thru Feb I play mostly alone, walk with my pull cart and enjoy the day, with a cigar and a flask of fireball. I only stop when there is snow, or the course is closed.

  • 2nd Hole in One

Approximately 12 years ago I had my first hole in one under unusual circumstances. I thought that I would never have another. But after playing particularly badly on the front nine, I turned it around on the back. On #14 of our Magnolia course I selected…

  • RE: Watch: Course Management vs. Shot Strategy with Justin Parsons

Interesting looking at the shot from the back of the green… rarely do you get this opportunity until you’ve already hit the shot.

I guess this would apply to playing home courses or more competition rounds during practice.
