    You have 4 degrees between the P, and 6 degrees to the 54. In addition, true wedges tend to be shorter. So it will widen the gap to the 48. There are many possibilities to gap the distance correctly.

    I did a quick search and looking at pictures it seemed some versions came with blade covers and others with the Mid-round. Might be best to try each and see which works better.

    I had a similar thing happen. I swapped out my TSR2 hybrid for a GT1 7 wood with a fujikura Ventus Black 8x. The land angle was near 50! Much better contact with this as opposed to my hybrid.
