Hi , What is the difference from the Pro V1 Left Dot and Pro V1X Left Dash ?

Has anyone tried using the LAB forward press grips with a Scotty and had success? I want to forward press, but whenever I try I screw up my face alignment. Do they work well with Scottys? Curious on people's point of views. Thanks! Brian
