My favourite club has to be my 980 3 wood.I have not been able to find a newer Titleist 3 wood to replace it. I just have extreme confidence in that club. I do like all of my other clubs the 915 Driver is nice, my 913 hybrid is great, the AP2 irons…

I typically use 70 in my driver & 80 in my 3 wood. I have seen players use same shaft in both. A certified fitter should be able to help you determine the best fit for your swing.

When I started playing the game the standard 5 iron lie angle was 59* & I played them 1* upright. Today the standard lie seems to be 62*, so I play them 2* flat. I still play my 5 iron at 60* and have every iron bent in 1/2* increments from there, regardless…
