• GT280 vs 3 wood off the fairway

    Does anyone have anyone have any launch monitor data on the GT280 versus their 3 wood off the deck? I am considering buying a GT280 to replace my 15* TSR2 3 wood. My driver speed is around 98mph but I tend to launch it fairly high. My 3 wood launches…

    Love the weighting on the fairways gives your fitter a good opportunity to dial it in perfectly. I guess hybrids will be down the road but I’ll be ready

    I am about to make a similar switch, but likely to the Phantom 7. I wanted the 7.5, but I am a lefty, so only have the option for the 7. I'll let you know once its ordered and I can play a few rounds with it.

    I don't know if I would change much - I love my GT2 so much now that I have it dialed it with a new shaft combo - maybe more weight adjustments? Hard to improve such a great driver IMO

  • When did you realize switching balls was costing you strokes?

    I know most Team Titleist players already know the benefits of the same ball. More consistent distances, predictable greenside spin, and general confidence. 

    But I’m curious… when did it actually click for you…
