The best check is to buy from an authorized Titleist shop. Next, buy from someone that can legitimately provide chain of custody back to at least a Titleist dealer. Online selling sites not directly connected to a dealer (I.e. 2nd Swing) are notorious…

If you don’t let them dry. Note your setting, remove the heads and keep the shafts upright and the heads upside down. Letting the hosel be the low point. Reattach after a couple of days.
