• Incredible Feeling

I was playing at my home course, Kingswell Glenn in our senior men's league. I teed up first on hole 14. 165 yards into a cold breeze. I hit maybe the best 5 iron i have ever hit. Little draw to right side of green then hit and role left 10ft. up into…

  • RE: Best titleist golf ball for senior swing speed

I'm 68 and play the ProV1x. After quite a bit of testing, it's the ball that works best for me. One thing I've noticed is that off the tee all golf balls go pretty much go the same distance. It's around the green where the ProV1x really shines for me…
  • RE: Best ball in colder weather

Regardless what ball I play, I keep two in my pocket and rotate them from hole to hole. I figure keeping them as warm as I can can't hurt.
  • RE: Best ball for more distance

I play the senior tees, the game is hard enough as it is, and I won't let my ego dictate how I play it, lol. That said, for me all balls go pretty much the same distance off the tee. I've never found one that was like WOW!
  • RE: Do you use a different ball in the winter

I use different golf balls. Since I can't post scores the winter rounds are more like practice than anything else. I keep two balls in my pocket and I alternate them every hole...trying to keep them from getting too cold.
  • RE: With 2021 V1s all gone ... what do you play now?

I’ve found the 21 better for my game than the 23 model. Better feel throughout the bag. The 23s feel like a 21 X, especially off the driver. The ball I’ve played that’s closest to the 21 is the Maxfli Tour.

  • My first, hopefully not my last

Decided to sneak in a Monday round at my local muni (Tam O'Shanter, Toronto) as I was playing a nice course the following day.

The 16th hole is a straightforward 150 par 3. I struck a 9 iron pure and knew from the ball flight it was good but was…
