I did add 2 more grams for a total of 4 grams over tried it out this weekend and yes it made a difference in strike feel and distance added about 10 t0 15 more yards total plus hit it higher. Might have to check out the GT1 and see what it does.

Choose the head and loft. When you get to shaft, click on the drop down and then Fujikura. Click the next drop down and scroll to the Ventus shaft options.
