• Effects on Swingweight from Shortening Driver Length

I have a Titleist 913D3 with a Fujikura Motore Speeder VC7.2 Tour Spec. I ordered this driver as a 44.75" length and a D4 swingweight. I'm interested in shortening it 1/2 an inch to be played at 44.25" length (shortening from the butt of the shaft). I…

  • Re: ball fitting

...Don't hurt yourself trying to get the same distance..  Between the air resistance and possibly softer turf, you will lose distance.  The 1X will likely still give you the best roll out and greenside game.  Won't be worth the effort to try to get a…

  • Re: Clubs

I have the AP1 5I and the 27H.  Off of mats over this winter, I'm torn which to use.  I think the AP1 is a degree or 2 stronger, so it may be a couple of yards longer on good strikes.  I really had the 24 and 27 910Hs dialed in last season on par 3s.

The first was at 165 yards, and the second at 120 yards.
This latest hole in one was special since it allowed my team of 4 players to win our Spring scramble by one shot, and collect the winning…

  • 913h Length

I'm looking to change shafts in my 913h and I was curious if anyone knew what that raw shaft length on the 19 degree model was? I know that the finished club plays at 40.5" but I wasn't sure how much of that is added by the adapter and club head. …

  • Test Golf Balls

Hi - I received a sleeve of test golf balls back in November but due to winter I hadn't had a chance to play them until now.  Overall the golf balls were good.  Definitely more firm than the Pro V but had decent feel but low spin around the greens.

  • Re: Golf Workouts

I start at 4:00am each morning with a 5 mile walk (cup of coffee at the local station makes it worthwhile).  I come home and hit the treadmill for a mile and a half (about 21 minutes) at a 15 incline and 4.9 speed (still walking, but rather quickly).  Next…
