  1. Hey guys,

It's getting about time to start preparing for winter (the couple weeks of it we get down here in Texas). It will be my first winter back on the golf course since high-school and am wondering what yalls favorite waterproofs are/which ones I should be looking at. Not terribly concerned with price, I'm happy to spend a couple bucks for quality and to stay dry. I like the looks of some of the FJ ones but figured do my due diligence.

Just looking for something waterproof but also breathable. I run a little hot and hate sweating in waterproofs.

    Thanks!

Check out the newly released FootJoy DryJoys LTS. Great product with just the right amount of give. The jacket as very few seams.

Any of the FootJoy products will be fantastic. Pick the family of gear based on the conditions you normally play in. They have something for any possible playing condition!

You winters sound very much like ours in Charleston, SC. You might consider the HydroLite rainwear collection, which comes in long sleeve and short sleeve. The black jacket comes with zip off sleeve which is one of my favorites. Lighter than the new LTS but also provides maximum protection with the same two year warranty. I would check out the various FJ products available through your local pro shop or on line at footjoy.com under apparel outerwear.

Hope I don’t get struck down for saying it, but do yourself a favor and get some GG wet gear. Just about the best stuff going. Not cheap but worth it. I to find waterproofs too hot in most rainy conditions, and I’m in the UK ! Lol. GG being goretex are ultra breathable and come in long or short sleeve, and lined or unlined. Their new C knit fabric is also stretchy but comes at a hefty price tag. Over £300 here. I’m sure FJ stuff is awesome to tho.
