Golf Balls

patrick m

I received an all white sleeve of Titleist balls last year and loved them.  I play the PRO V1x and the balls seemed very similar.  If at all possible I would be very interested in knowing what I was playing.  Unfortunately I didn't get to send in my comment/critique response.

Thank you,

You were lucky enough to receive the "white" sleeves which were the Prototype Titleist that they sent out.  Titleist was looking for feedback on the ball from the general public and not just the pros before they released it.  So basically you were playing the 2013 ProV1X but they had "test" written on the side stamp.

Did everyone get the same ball (i.e., prototype ProV1x)?  I, too, got a "white sleeve" and absolutely LOVED the balls.

I received balls last year.  By the time I was able to use them, the comment period had closed.  I look forward to the next time I can participate in the testing.

They are the PRO V1x that was released this year I absolutely love them. I don't have the prototype anymore but DO have the 2013 version ProV1 and they perform exactly like the test sleeve I received. Keep up the great work Titleist !!!!!

I too received a test sleeve last fall, I didn't get to test them out until this June and found that I got 20 to 25 extra yards ..WHAT are they? I could sure use some more.

John, I couldn't agree more!  These balls are like magic--just explode off the clubface and great feel around the green.  Amazing!

How did you all get a sleeve? Just through being TT Members? I just signed up about 8 months ago, so I wasn't around for it.

I have been a member of Team Titleist since its inception and have been lucky enough to be a part of two "white sleeve" selections and it's an awesome feeling to see those show up in the mail.  It's great that Titleist continues to do this and truly cares what the weekend players think about their new products!  Keep up the great work Titleist!

John, I know what you mean but I wait till they bring out the new and the previous model is cheaper. Also quite often you can get the logo overruns or the practice balls at a reduced price.

I agree - these were great, as are the new Pro V1 models that are out there now - as others have commented, these really jump off the club face and are great on the greens.  Can send me the "white sleeves" again any time - more than happy to test and report on great products!
