Hello everybody! Would anybody like to see the Pro V1 line in an Optic Yellow like the NXT Tour S and DT Trusoft?

  2. I definitely would. I have the occasional tendency to hit the ball in the rough....lol and in the early mornings at my course when the grass is still damp you have to be right on top of the ball to see it. I like the NXT in the yellow but prefer the performance of the ProV1x. A few other colors would be appealing too, for playing in twilight hours and visual appeal and to be different. thanks!

Most definitely. It has been brought up and asked for many times on this forum. Maybe one day Titleist will here us.

If we are taking a pole, I would vote no. I would not buy them.

No thank you I love the tradition that the Titleist group keeps.

Yes, currently play NXT Tour S in optic yellow because there is no yellow ProV available. I guess the purist's at Titleist don't think it appropriate to manufacture a yellow ProV. The same mentality that would have us playing with persimmon woods and hickory shafts if they had their way.

I like the fact that they are not any color but the traditional white. I understand the appeal of a yellow ball and can also understand to use of one in the rough and on dormant grass. But I just like tradition.

I'm indifferent on the matter. However, me personally, I'd stick to plating white.

This idea comes up every so often. Many would like an optic ProV1 but apparently not enough to make it worthwhile. It may be a Quality Control nightmare, too.

I know I'm old. Guess I must be traditional too. White for my Pro V1x thanks.

Anyone using a white Pro-V shouldn't feel threatened - those favoring yellow in the grass or with vision issues are only asking for an option other than white. I will guess that the Surlyn yellow balls don't go through roughly 100 quality control steps. So developing quality control for an amber color may be cost-prohibitive. Even a former Titleist ambassador moved and has a colored ball now.

Thanks for the responses! It seems to me that there are a lot of people who are "traditional" in the sense that they would stick to the white color. When Titleist came out with the yellow NXT Tour S I played with one, and my wife and I agreed that the optic yellow is much easier to see...in the air, fairways, greens and rough! Even in the trees too! I haven't looked back and am still playing that yellow NXT Tour S, and the DT Solo/Trusoft.

Playing on dormant grass in the winter is tough enough with out having to circle to find your ProV/ProV1. When paint slightly fades, yeow! I used to play NXT for the yellow color. The new ProV has a new convert, but I would sure like to see the yellow color. By the way, the yellow paint on the NXT is the best in the business!!

An additional comment, our pro staff has said they could sell yellow ProV/ProV1 all day and night!!

I'm on record as being in favor of yellow. I really like the added visibility under certain conditions. If it helps a person track the ball better, it will help improve scores, speed up play, and make the game more enjoyable.

As for tradition, if the early Scots would have thought about it, the feathery and gutta percha ball would have be fluorescent yellow.
