I used to be selected to test prototype golf balls what seemed like each year. It's been at least two years since I've received any prototype golf balls and I wondered why I stopped recieving them. Did titleist stop r&d testing with the public? I always looked forward to testing these balls and I hate that it has stopped happening!

Yeah I haven't received any in two years either. Disappointing but I know they are still testing with the public.
That's one of the best things about Titleist. They get not just the pro's point of view but us general Hackers as well!

    Hunter,
I believe that they still use T/T members to help test. I have a thought, and I have no proof of this, that the testers are based on what ball their profile says they use. Since Titleist cycles the new ball release every 2 years it is possible that this is why you haven't received a test pack in a couple of years. For example: my profile says that I play the DT SoLo/Trusoft so I haven't received the ProV's when they start the testing for those. But I did receive a TruSoft pack a while back when they were testing those. Be patient and I'm sure that Titleist will get back to you. Fairways and greens.

no my profiile has prov1 and I wasn't included in the in the recent test of the prov1.
Maybe they just cycle us through every so often

Been 2 years for me, but I have had friends that are new to TT that have been selected over the past 2 years. I have done 2 of them in the past so it's good to include others that are new to TT and can give a new perspective. I'm sure we al we get a chance in the near future.

Its always better to receive when its not expected, they can't send every TT member balls. Bright side is when you make the free ball fitting day, you get a two-pack of the V and X balls.

It's been about 2-3 years for me as well. I did keep one, as it had TEST on the side. Very cool and unique.

I've been a member for 2+ years. I started posting in the threads but then I stopped since interaction seemed little to none. I always wondered how people got selected for things like that and someone mentioned that if you don't post a lot, they don't pay much attention to you. So here I am, trying to be an active Team Titleist member. I thought that having all Titleist gear was going to make me a prime candidate, but I guess not. I've got nothing but Titleist gear, and even a second set of Titleist irons. Got an ultra rare Limited Edition Titleist Japan Caddy Stand bag that came out in 2016. I updated my gear every time I had new stuff, and never got selected unfortunately. Hopefully someday I'll earn at least a TT tag though.

    Huddersfield,

Ive tested 2 lots in the past year or so. I think it depends n how active you are on the forum, however sometimes activity is very low, so I tend to wander off for a while and come back periodically to see if there is anything interesting
