Vokey wedge from second hand - how to verify it's genuine

Jiri V

I just bought a Vokey gap wedge on ebay from second hand - the seller had 100% positive evaluation/reviews.

I visited the driving range last week to test it. It wasn't bad :-) After few hours I found out, that the club head became rusty. The face of the head (where the scratches from the balls are) and little bit at the bottom. I don't think it's usual.

I already have another Vokey wedge (satin surface) in my bag and that's ok, no rust.

Anyway, the serial no. at the club head looks like "hand made". But the wegde was fitted, maybe that's why.

It's possible to verify that's a genuine Vokey wedge?

Thanx a lot for the reply.
