I was fitted for the KBS Tour C-Taper.  I was fitted and placed the order with an advanced fitting center - Harmon Golf Club.  The fitting experience was fantastic.  I wasn't expecting the clubs to be delivered for a few weeks so I was more than a bit surprised when the package was dropped off on my desk.  It's like Christmas in early November.

I've got my AP2s as well!! Plus a AP1 3 iron. Nothing sweeter.

    I got mine today!

4-PW with the TT S300 Stiff shafts.

After reading your post, I had my club pro call about my order. The Titleist office said the clubs shipped Friday and were to arrive today via FedEx.

    The clubs arrived around 2:30pm.

I was playing the 710 AP2 so I hit both the 714 and 710's. Both have TT S300 shafts.

First impression, the new TT S300 shafts feel more stiff than the older TT S300 shafts...noticibly more stiff.

The new S300 shafts felt much more stiff than my friend's TT XP95 stiff shafts in his 1 year old Calaway irons.

It took a few swings to get the release/kick feeling with 714's TT S300 shafts. Once I solved it, the 714's were incredible.

Today's temp was 64 degrees and I was hitting used range balls.

My 710 9 iron typically travels 140 yards. Today it averaged 130 yards.

    The 714 9 iron averaged 132-135 yards.

More importantly, the 714 mis-hits traveled 125-130 yards.

Pured 714 9 iron shots averaged about 140 yards.

All yardages were measured with my Buscnell laser range finder.

I hit every 714 club 4-PW longer than the 710's...4-8 yards longer.

The ball flight was higher and at the same time penetrated the wind more aggresively.

But what I loved the most was the noticible difference of the 714 4 & 5 irons.

The long irons are so much improved! I loved hitting the 4 iron. The ball flight started low and finished high with a nice easy right to left draw. Again mishits were noticible but did not result in severe distance or directional loss.

I immediately put the 714's in my bag!

    Anyone want a used 710 AP2 3-PW set?

I was like a kid at Christmas Tuesday evening when I got home from work to find this nice Titleist Box waiting for me!! If the forecast wasn't for low 40's and rain or snow the next four days I'd be out there playing with them right now.  Unfortunately I had to put the AP2's in the bag (which finally completed my full Titleist bag) and hope for a decent day before the snow comes for good otherwise its going to be numerous trips to the indoor range this winter for me!!
