Broken shaft

I've attached an image of my 917 D2 driver that broke when I was playing last weekend. I called my local golf shop to see about new shafts and he said that Titleist may be able to cover the fix. As you can see in the image, the break is only several inches up from the head.

Please advise if this is something that is covered, and if so, what my next actions need to be.

    Hi Taylor, We would recommend taking both pieces of the shaft back to your pro shop and have them set up a Warranty inspection. The Warranty department will visually inspect the break to determine defects and then let your shop know what the options are - whether they will replace under Warranty or there is a charge.
