    Hello all!

This winter I am getting new irons and my dad and I have agreed that I should get fitted for them. I saw that titleist has many fitting options so I looked into them. I am from Colorado and I saw that Bear Creek Golf Club has an "advanced fitting" option that is available for titleist clubs. My question is how is this type of fitting different than the other options. And, how much will this cost and if it is pricey, is it really worth it?

    Thanks

Most fitters will include the price of the fitting, depending on how many clubs you order. The irons you get from Titleist will be their best for the next 2 years. Value versus cost...

Here is a link that will provide a short comparison between the various fitting opportunities. http://www.titleist.com/find-a-golf-shop/. As for cost - that depends on weather you are being fitted by a club pro or by Titleist at one of their demo days. In my opinion, unless the cost (if there is any) is exorbitant, it will be worth it.

Hi Davis,  We have different types of fitting matrices (amount of fitting tools) in the field, the smallest is a Surefit bag, a Surefit cart fitter has more tools and sometimes they have a launch monitor and a dedicated fitter.  The Advanced Fitter such as Bear Creek has a dedicated fitter, in this case Kirk Rider, a launch monitor, all the heads that we offer and many more shaft options.

We have 4 Regional facilities in the country, one in Texas, one in Michigan, one in New York and one in Georgia.  These four fitting centers have almost the same amount of tools as our Performance Fitting Vans and Tour facilities.  Our three Performance vans travel throughout the country conducting fittings in the West, the Midwest and the East.  Then, the top of the pyramid would be our two Tour fitting facilities in Oceanside, CA. and Acushnet, MA.  The cost for fitting can vary anywhere from $30 to $600 at our Tour facility.  As you get to the Advanced facilities and above, they generally charge a fee that is not included in the cost of the clubs, as you are paying for both their expertise and time.  But, many do have special junior pricing for fitting.  Give Kirk a call and he can give you information as well as pricing.

In case anyone was wondering, Titleist Regional Fitting Centers are located at Jim McLean Golf Center (Fort Worth, Texas);  Miles of Golf (Ypsilanti, Mich.); Sea Island Learning Center (St. Simons Island, Ga.) and Sleepy Hollow Country Club (Scarborough, N.Y.).
