    Hi Robert.
I like your stats. Can you get to a nearby fitter?

Anyway, I was down at TPI last September for a fitting. I went from Diamana 70 stiff to Diamana 50 stiff. (from 915 to 917) The shaft feels like I'm swinging an even lighter flex than a regular.

I don't know anything about Bassara, but see if you could try the Diamana 50 with the proper flex at your local fitter.

    Good luck!

Lighter is not always better. I would find a fitter with a track man or flight scope and have them find the best one for you.

Would recommend going to see a fitter to ensure that you are getting the right shaft for the head that you have. Sometimes in our quest for more distance, the accuracy could suffer and that is why I recommend a certified Titleist fitter.

The bottom line. The lightest shaft you can control. As mentioned trying out different shafts using a Trackman or Flightscope is the tool to find the right shaft. Numbers don't lie.
  6. Lighter is not always better. A heavier hammer will always drive the nail deeper unless you physically can not pick up the hammer.
