For anyone thinking of attending a Titleist Thursday near Philadelphia, do not hesitate to sign up for one with Penn Oaks Golf Club near West Chester (about 25 miles outside of Philadelphia).

I recently had a Titleist Thursday appointment at Penn Oaks Golf Club, as I was in the market for a 917 Driver, 917 FW, and 816 hybrid.

Frank, Jesse, Harry, and crew were very pleasant, professional, and thorough. They explained their methodology behind finding the best clubs suitable for my swing and playing style. It was nice to get fitted outdoors, on grass, and with a Trackman.

After my swings, Frank and Jesse would review my Trackman numbers and tinker with various adjustments to fine tune the club that would work for me. Frank and Jesse also took the time to explain the relevance and importance of my launch numbers. It was clear they knew what they were doing.

I ended up buying a driver, fairway wood, and hybrid directly after my fitting. I hope to go back to Penn Oaks once the 718 irons are available.
