Scotty Cameron Gallery

Adam E

My family and I live in Phoenix and go to La Jolla 1-2 times a year to get away from the heat and we are headed back over in a few weeks. For a couple years now I've wanted to stop by the Scotty Cameron Gallery. Hey SoCal guys, is it worth the trek up to Encinitas? I've used Cameron putters for roughly ten years - still have about ten of them. I am a junky - what is the shop like?

Always worth a trip.... You may run into Scotty, find a cool cover or toy.

Todd T is from that area and pretty knowledgeable regarding the Gallery. Your best source. =)

I went a few weeks ago for the first time...Awesomeness!!!
I'll be moving soon to Carlsbad and plan on making stops at the shop on a regular basis. Pretty Cool Place!!!

I had been thinking about doing this for a while now and finally made a reservation for a putter fitting at the Gallery about 6 weeks ago. Six weeks goes by pretty fast and my putter fitting with Spencer is this Saturday. I'm so excited to be going and am planning on taking my favorite three putters with me so I can figure out which really works best for me. I want to learn about all the little things that add up to being a good putter so I can make up for the strokes lost everywhere else. We can't take pictures there, but I will post and let you know about the experience on Monday!

Cathi, just a question. Do you need an appointment for a fitting? Sound like I would . If I bring a putter can they repair if there or would I need to send it in?

Cathi- As the only part of my new bag, and new set up with all new 716's AP1's and Vokey SM6's that is, dare I say it, is my putter. I've had the Redwood Iconic png in my bag for a lot of years. I will be anxious to read all about your experience as I've always dreamed of owning a custom Scotty Cameron one day....maybe your post will be the push I need. Can't wait.
