Not sure how many of you follow Titleist on Instagram, Twitter or Facebook but their latest #Wearegolfers post is pretty amazing. A few months ago I toured the Ball Plant III facility and had the honor of meeting a lot of the plant workers. As we were introduced, one thing that stood out was how many years they've been there. It was pretty crazy, unheard of these days. But one that stood out was Norm. 52 plus years... That's pretty darn remarkable if you ask me... Was stoked to see Titleist recognize his service. Here's a shot from Titleist IG post.. Go check it out and read his story. Amazing...

Also to Team Titleist, keep the #wearegolfers coming. Really enjoy reading those...

    Cheers

In a recent announcement that Wally Uihlein, CEO of Acushnet, is stepping down in January, part of the praise was keeping the vision of the Acushnet founders as part of the corporate goals. In the midst of the world-wide domination of the golf ball industry is a company with heart of an old style small town company with its employees valued as family members. It is still possible to be successful with goals beyond quarterly reports and Wall Street requiring "smart choices" to "right size" the company for short-term profitability.

....Now I can only hope that the support for LH golfers will continue with the #1 LH golfer in the company retiring.... ;-0
  5. His story is incredible, and when you have employees with that kind of dedication, it is no wonder why they make the best equipment in golf.

Very cool! I've always heard great stories about the pride the Titleist employees have in making the golf balls. Always awesome to see.

I loved seeing this as well, Speedy. It was a "hey, I know that guy!" moment. It was great to see a 'familiar face' on IG from our BP III tour. Even better to see Titleist recognizing their team.

That kind of loyalty should be recognized. =)
