WOW... To hear the commissioner say that the balance of the Players Championship along with the next three or four tournaments will be played with no fans is unprecedented.
It will be significantly different for the players to play 17 at Sawgrass without the fans building up the excitement as the ball comes close to the edge of the green or lips out for a potential ace. Imagine the Masters without the throngs of crowds lining the fairways? Hopefully by then things will have settled down, but at this point I have a feeling that Canada and the U.S. have a lot of catching up to do as compared to the rest of the world with regards to the spread of the virus. Let us all hope for the best and settle in to watch the play on TV. Perhaps if we cheer loud enough the players will hear us :)
