This is the big week for Golf in Canada with the start of the Canadian Open ! The event gets better and better every year as more of the top Tour players are treating the Canadian Open with the respect it deserves as one of the key tournaments in the year. We have been treated to some significant events in the Canadian Open from the shoot-out between Weir and Singh to the wins by Rory in 2019 heading into the pandemic and following it up in 2022 as we were coming out of the pandemic. Of course the huge win by Nick Taylor in 2023 !! This year the Canadian Open is being held at a new venue TPC Toronto. Known for years by many of us in the area as Osprey Valley. I will be particularly interested in seeing how the newly renovated course compares to how it was when I last played it and how the tour players navigate the track ! Go Canada !!!!
