It was indeed a very interesting final day at the U.S. Open this year. Little doubt that J.J. Spaun would have made his two putt to win, but draining that 64 footer for a birdie was quite the exclamation mark ! I do hope he said thanks to Victor Hovland for the great read :) Overall, one thing I did learn from this tournament is that I see no need for a rules change on balls. The course set-up clearly showed that with thick rough and deep fairway bunkers properly placed, even the longest hitters had to rely on ball striking and flight control to score well. Now - off across the pond for more excitement :)
