I currently am playing TM R9 TP's and am going to make a move over to Ttielist. Do you think I should go back through the fitting process. I had my current clubs fitted at TM Performance Center and still have all of the data.

    Ken,

Previous data will definitely help the fitter when being re-fit, but I would still recommend you get re-fit for your Titleist product.  Not only will you benefit from a Titleist fitter walking you through the methodology of a Titleist fitting, but there may be changes to your swing that may show in an up-to-date fitting.

I have been hitting my drives consistantly on the toe of my driver and i was wondering if this is an indication that the club is too long or too short? I am a PGA apprentice and i am very familiar with club fitting i just wanted to get a second opinion from a certified titleist fitter. Thank you

    Mike,

This is an indication of an incorrect driver length.  Normally, misses off the toe could mean the club is a little too short, so if you have the chance to try a slightly longer club I would do so.  If you don't see any change in the impacts then I would experiment with shorter lengths as well, until you find the most consistent impact marks.

The two drivers play very differently, especially with the great selection of shafts that Titliest offers. Find  a good fitter through their locator service and let them fit you. Be sure to do it outdoors, with a launch monior and use Pro V 1 golf balls for the best results.

Steve, shouldn't he use the ball that he plays for the fitting?

How well would someone be fit for a low spinning ball if they used a ProV1 for the fitting?

Thanks For everyones input. The closest place for me to get fitted is a PGA Superstore. I have used them before and had fairly good luck. As for the balls I will take my own which will be PRO V1 or a Penta.
