  1. My family and I are taking a trip to San Diego in May and I have discussed getting fitted at Titleist while there. I have talked with my local pro and he talked to his rep so that is in the works. Couple questions I have: 1) When fitting do they use balls that I typically play (Pro V1X). I am always frustrated to get fitted with Range Balls and never know what my ball effect will be. 2) Is there any discounts to club purchases after going thru the fitting? 3) Can you be fitted for a putter also? I am thinking about going thru the bag to be fully setup right this time. Thanks

Hi David, When you come to our Oceanside Test facility to be fit, you will be fit on our fairways with a Trackman with ProV1's or ProV1x's (just like our Touring pros). We offer three fittings:  Driver/Fairway, Hybrid/Irons and a Wedge fit.  They can be done individually or all together.  Most players that come to our facilities are used to hitting balls and do all three together, but it depends on the individual. Each fitting takes about an hour (or 3 hrs for the bag, minus putter).  We do not offer a putter fitting at this time. The fee is a fitting fee only and you will have to place the order through your club (cannot order directly through Titleist). A fitting sheet will be emailed to you and your local pro, if you wish, so that he can order the clubs exactly as they were fitted. Oceanside fits Monday through Friday at 9am or 1pm. The cost is $150 per fitting or $450 for all three and you can reserve your fitting time by calling Team Titleist at 1-888-TITLEIST or by calling 1-888-262-7202. If you have any questions, give us a call and we would be happy to answer them.
  3. Did the price change recently? I thought it was $100 per fitting?

    Just curious... thx

Fitting pricing has not changed in last several years - they were higher initially, but there were several other options available at that time.

Cathi what happened with the putter fittings?  Is the studio there not being used for them right now?

  6. That's my biggest holdback right now. I love my titleist clubs but it's more expensive and no putter fitting

The putter studio at O'side is used when Scotty or his fitters come out to fit Tour players.

I highly recommend the TPI fitting. I got fitted a few months ago in August and it was the best $450 spent on golf. The guys down at TPI are a great group of guys and my buddy and I felt very welcomed.

Since you are fitted on their fairway, you get to hit off the grass with a trackman and it feels like you are hitting down the fairway with trees and bunkers down both sides so you truly do feel like you are on the course.
