I am going to be ordering a 60* wedge from the custom Vokey site. I already have a 56* TVD wedge and love it. I am deciding between the 60* TVD wedge and the 200 series in either 260.06 or 260.12. My question concerns tight lies. Would either of the 200 series offer a significant difference over the TVD in their ease of use on tight lies? Thanks for the help.

    Jim,

    Thank you for your post.

In tight, firm conditions, we would direct you to either the TVD 60 or the 260.06. The 260.12 will probably have too much bounce for what you are looking for.

The TVD 60 is great if you are a player that opens the club face and plays a variety of shots around the green. The 260.0 is a great wedge if you prefer a full sole and hit many shots with a square face position. Both are very versatile and great firm condition wedges. We often see guys on tour using a sole relieved wedge such as the TVD in their Lob lofts, but the ultimate choice is up to you.

Thank you Andrew. I just heard from the Vokey Wedge Works that I can order the KBS C-Taper shafts. Woohoo!! So it will be the 60* TVD with a C-Taper shaft.
