As I read the Discussions, I see comments concerning Nippon NS Pro 850 and 950 but don't see those on the custom shaft lists???  Are there more shafts available than what is on the custom shaft list for 712 AP1?

Also, what Iron shaft options are there for left handed golfer that wants a D2 finished SW, shafts +1/2" over std Titleist 712 AP1 and lie angle + 2 degrees upright with Std GolfPride G2 grips with +1 extra tape?

    Thanks,

    Jerry

Hi Jerry, We do have the NS pro 850, 950, and Modus 3 along with the Graphite Design 65i and 50i. That list should be updated within the next day. The 850, 950 or the KBS steel shafts can be built to a D2. You would just have to make that request when placing your order.

Cathi, a new related question, what would need to happen to make the DG S300 shaft D2 assuming 1/2" longer than std and 2 degrees up with std grips?  Also, how about DG SL S300, same question?  If D2 is not possible, how close can you get and what would it be?  This all assumes 712 AP1.   As another side question, any easier to get close to D2 on the 712 AP2 for same shafts & custom specs?  Thanks in advance.

Hi Jerry, Assuming standard grip, we should be able to come within a 1/2 swingweight of D2 on the AP1 heads at 1/2" over. On the AP2 irons, we should be able to get to D2 at 1/2" over if requested. In either case, you would need to request that swingweight so that lighter heads were used.

Cathi, demoed the 712 AP1 locally with a TT DG S300 +1/2" and 2 degrees up with the adjustable head they just received with their fitting bag.  The "Balance" of that club was perfect for me, that day at least.   I assume that the swingweight on that would have been D5 or so accounting for + 3 SW for the 1/2:" added length.   In any event, to replicate that same "balanced" club feel and get to D2 is it more likely to happen with same heavy shaft and lighter head to get to D2 or some other lighter shaft like the TT DG SL or Nippon 1050 with the stock heavy head?  Thanks in advance.

The balance point of the NS pro 105T is higher than the DYG and will build 2-3 swingweights lighter with the same head as a standard DYG S300. The SL will build almost (within 1 sw) the same as the std DYG, so you will have a lighter shaft and a lighter head to achieve your D2 swingweight.

Thanks Cathi, appreciate the assist.   Last question, I almost promise...lol, the local fitter and rep has suggested to me to consider the KBS Tour shaft.   Question, KBS website shows 5 flexes including a Strong Stiff as opposed to just Stiff.   Based on Trackman, looks like the Strong Stiff fits best with my swing profile.  Does Titleist offer the tweener shaft flex that the KBS website shows?  Titleist website only shows R,S,X?

    Thanks,

    Jerry
