  1. I am looking at getting a 910 D2 soon and I have been looking at which shaft to get with it.  I am left handed and am going to go with the 8.5 degree 910 D2.  What are anyones thoughts on the Titleist Diamana 'ahina 72? I've been hitting a Rapture with an Aldila NVS 65 S 350.  Hit it pretty good, but ready for a change.  I am not used to having to pick out the actual shaft instead of just deciding on the stiffness. I  noticed on some websites, budgetgolf.com for instance, lists it as diamana ahina 72 (white).  Is the color of the shaft white or is it black?

I have the 910 D2 with the 'Ahina 72 stiff shaft and find that I get a low boring flight. The 'ahina shaft is the updated version of the Diamana WB but the shaft is certainly black with low to mid kick point.

  3. It is high kick point hat produces a low-mid trajectory. The shaft is black and it is pretty good for a stock shaft. I think the project x is a little better though as it is not a made for and the feel is better with a similar trajectory.

I had it and it worked pretty well for me. I recommend tipping it 1 inch though and it will play very close to the aftermarket Ahina. I did however end up switching to teh aftermarket Whiteboard and was very pleased with the end result. It was a more consistent ball flight.

I noticed that you're currently hitting a club with the Aldila NVS shaft, which is a more mid-higher launching shaft, compared to the 'ahina. The 'ahina is a lower launching shaft. If you hit the NVS well, you may or may not, like the 'ahina. There's an array of shafts to choose from with the 910's. You're going to be paying for a very nice driver. Might as well get it fit for YOUR swing.
