Im thinking about getting a new wedge set soon alon with titleist irons and driver and woods and pretty much the whole deal, but first i want to get a vokey wedge and i have played a cleveland for a year and i dont want to go to the zip grooves and i want to get a vokey because of the good feedback i have hurd on them. i want that nice oil can finish but i switched to a nxt tour ball and i like to spin the ball a lot so which vokey wedge would be the best. P.S. im getting a 52, 56, and 60. and if it helps i hit a regular sandwedge about 115-120 and my hadicap in 6 if anything helps so please help me thank you. - Dave D

First we would recommend going to a Titleist fitter and getting fit for your wedges.  Assuming that your length and lies are good, a fitter would look for the gaps starting from your PW.  Ideally, we look for 10-15 yd gaps.  Next, we would see if you are a sweeper or a digger to select sole and bounce.  In general, if you are a sweeper, you would look for a narrower sole, less bounce and more camber.  If you are a digger, wider sole, more bounce and less camber would work better.    Half shots will help select sole and bounce.  Lastly, when you are selecting your 60° take it to the sand to make sure it works in the bunkers.  A fitter will help you determine the best loft and bounce configuration for your game.   Give us a call at Team Titleist and we would be glad to find a fitter for you.
